Cobblestone Elemental Sulfur is high-grade, 90% concentration that has been pelletized to reduce dust and increase efficacy. Known as the 4th macronutrient due to its essential role in plant health, sulfur is as critical to a plant's development as phosphorus. Along with helping in protein formation, sulfur acts as a builder of enzymes and plant hormones, it further adds flavor and scent to many common garden veggies such as onions and broccoli. In the soil, sulfur acts as a powerful acidifier, counteracting sodium and alkalinity. It should be used sparingly and with the help of a PH measurement aid such as a PH meter, PH strips, or soil test.
Directions - For Potted Plants: Apply at a ratio of 10 parts nitrogen to 1 part sulfur, typically no more than 75ppm (i.e. 1g in 10L of water.)
For Gardens: Spread 150g (2/3cup) per 10sq metres (100 square feet.) Mix into the top 5-10cm (2-4") of soil.
