Cucumber Pickling
Yes, that's right, pickles are made from these tasty little cucumbers! Fast-growing & prolific in production, pickling cucumbers are short 4-6" long fruit with robust skin, spiny ridges, and beefy interior flesh. Making pickles is easy - use cider vinegar & salt as brine then mix in spice: garlic, celery seed, mustard seed, & peppercorns are popular. Dill seed added to the mix produces dill pickles.
