Lettuce Butter Head

Rich and creamy taste is the hallmark of a butter head lettuce. Leaves have a thick texture closer to spinach than traditional lettuce and are smooth and sweet. Butter head lettuce is a family favourite for sandwiches and salads. Plant several crops of this delicious lettuce this spring and enjoy fresh heads of produce all summer long - it tolerates cool temps as well as hot!

Seeding Instructions - Simply sprinkle lettuce seed over soil & cover. Lettuce takes up to 10 days to germinate. It prefers sun but will tolerate some shade; weeds can overtake lettuce so be sure to plant seeds 6-10" apart and keep your hoe handy!

Growing On & Harvest - You can start harvesting head lettuce when it has formed a thick  Just pick and enjoy!
