Dill Mammoth Elephant Mix
Dill is one of the easiest herbs to grow & reliably produces tasty foliage & loads of seed. Dill in food preparation isn't limited to fish & pickling spice; try this light & aromatic herb on just about every one of your favourite food dishes - salads & dressings, meat, veggies, pickles, even popcorn and potato chips!
Seeding Instructions - Seed directly into the garden or into deep outdoor pots (dill has a taproot so it grows best with at least 10" of soil to grow down into.) Mid-May. Seed takes up to 3 weeks to germinate. Dill likes lots of sun and is low-care so is suitable for a bright spot that you may forget to water from time to time!
Growing On & Harvest - Dill leaves can be picked when the plant is ~12" tall; to harvest seeds, you will need to wait 2 months until the flowering cycle is complete and seed heads mature. Feed with veggie food every two weeks & bone meal once a month.
