Cabbage Golden Acre

Cabbage usually takes a lot of room to grow; Golden Acre is a perfect choice for gardeners looking to economize on space. These compact plants can be spaced 12" apart and are even great for container growing. Firm and dense heads are smaller than traditional varieties and boast all of the rich flavour and texture. Perfect fresh, in soups, or for yummy cabbage rolls!

Seeding Instructions - Start indoors in late April or sow outdoors in May after last frost, can take up to 10 days to germinate. Sow in 0.5" deep trenches, around 18" between seeds. Use frost cover to protect from cabbage moth.

Growing On & Harvest - Allow cabbage plants to dry slightly between waterings. Fertilize with veggie food every two weeks and bone meal once a month. Harvest in approximately 60-70 days. Store cabbage in a cool, dark location.
