Broccoli Green Sprouting Calabrese

Eat your broccoli! Growing your own sure makes that easier to do! Green Sprouting Calabrese is a superior variety that is very disease resistant and produces heavily. Leave some space for these guys as they can reach 3' tall and will produce smaller florets as a second crop once you take a first harvest of the large 5" wide heads. Versatile and easy to grow!

Seeding Instructions - Start indoors in late April or sow outdoors in May after last frost, can take up to 10 days to germinate. Sow in 0.5" deep trenches, around 18" between seeds. Use frost cover to protect from cabbage moth.

Growing On & Harvest - Allow plants to dry slightly between waterings. Fertilize with veggie food every two weeks and bone meal once a month. Harvest in approximately 75-80 days.
