Cobblestone Humic Acid is a certified-organic soil builder that is mined from the Black Earth ancient freshwater wetland deposits found in Alberta. A key component in a healthy soil profile, Cobblestone Humic Acid is made up of fully decomposed organic plant material. The benefits of humic acid to the soil are vast. Humic acid supports microbial life in the soil, accelerating mineral breakdown and creating nutrient bridges between clay and plant roots. The long-chain molecules of humic acid attach to plant roots and help the plants uptake water and nutrients. Humic acid further improves soil structure, increases tilth, aeration, and water movement. It is a consistent neutralizer of soil acidity/ alkalinity. High humic acid content in the soil is linked to substantial increases in yield. Humic acid is best applied yearly, with results optimizing in the second year after initial application.

Directions - In the Garden: Spread Cobblestone Humic Acid in the planting area with an application rate of 4 .5kg (10lb) per 93 sq m (1000sq ft). Mix in to a depth of 4". In Pots: Mix humic acid into well-draining potting mix before planting, mix at a rate of 2% of soil volume, or 560ml (~2.5 cups) per 28l (1 cu ft).
