Brussel Sprouts Long Island

Delicious, nutritious, and fun to grow, Long Island Brussel sprouts have been bred to remain compact without compromising the quality or quantity of sprouts produced. Try them steamed, boiled, or roasted!
Seeding Instructions - Start indoors in late April, can take up to 10 days to germinate. Transfer to the garden in May after the last frost, space around 24" between plants. Use frost cover to protect from cabbage moth.
Growing On & Harvest - Allow plants to dry slightly between waterings. Fertilize with veggie food every two weeks and bone meal once a month. Harvest in approximately 90 - 100 days. Once plants start producing sprouts, encourage sprout development by removing the lowest leaves on the plant.
